If you can run/walk/skip/hop for the 26.2 miles and commit to raising a minimum of £1,000 in sponsorship, join the KMMT London Marathon Team.
Donate money online: at:
- www.justgiving.com which also offers runners and events' participants the facility to raise money quickly and easily online with their own personalised web pages. And justgiving automatically reclaims gift aid on every donation from a UK tax payer
- www.givenow.org if you have CAF cheques

MONEY4MOBILES: re-cycle your mobile phone. The KMMT has registered with Dixon's scheme which allows charities to turn mobile phones into cash. Please send your disused phones in to the KMMT office - we shall do the rest
Join our team of collectors: The KMMT regularly collects at public venues and welcomes more people power. The more collectors we have, the more we can raise at any given time as well as raising our profile in the wider community.
Buy a brick (@ £10.00): Are you or your family or friends celebrating a special event (birth, bar/batmitzvah, wedding, anniversary, birthday)? Make a special gift to mark this special occasion. Or honour the memory of a loved one. And the KMMT will send an appropriate certificate.
Shop online at Easyfundraising: a shopping directory that includes some of your favourite online stores: Amazon, Next, Debenhams, John Lewis, Toys'R'Us, HMV and over 400 others. If you shop online anyway, why not raise valuable funds for the KMMT by using this scheme - we will receive a donation of up to 15% from every purchase you make - at no extra cost to you. All you need do is visit www.easyfundraising.org.uk/kmmt and when you register select the Karen Morris Memorial Trust as the organisation you wish to support.
Support regularly by:
- Standing order
- Payroll giving/matching gifts: many companies have a matching gift programme, i.e. they will match any charitable donation made by their employees. Find out if your employer has one - or ask them to start one. If you are an employer, why not start one yourself?
- Completing a gift aid form: if you are a UK tax payer so the KMMT can claim from the government
- Nominate a charity on your tax return: those who complete a self assessment tax return can now nominate a charity to receive all or part of any repayment due which will be paid directly to the charity's bank account and gift aid paid without the charity making a claim. Request a collecting box: for your desk, shop counter, in your hallway... and encourage your staff, visitors, family to lighten their pockets.
Adopt the KMMT as the 'Charity of the Year': for your company / school / community.
Raise money with your own challenge: there are now a wide variety of events being organised throughout the world and for every level of fitness. Or why not organise your own challenge.
Remember the KMMT in your will: as a registered charity the KMMT is exempt from inheritance tax and can, therefore, receive the full value of your bequest.
